Longest Match answers questions about IP addresses: where they are, who runs them, and what they are being used for. Here is everything we hold, and how much of it there is. Every figure below is counted from the live data.

Coverage

3,121,914,356 IPv4 addresses currently carry a route we can see, which is 72.7% of the 4,294,967,296 addresses IPv4 has in total. The rest is reserved, unallocated, or allocated to somebody who has not announced it. IPv6 is counted separately and in /64s, because the two families have no unit in common: one IPv6 allocation contains more /64s than the whole of IPv4 contains addresses, so any combined figure would be decided entirely by whichever family was scaled up.

179,889 profiles in total, each showing how much address space it holds, what that space is used for, and where it is.

We never publish address lists. You can see how much space a network holds and what it is used for. You cannot download the addresses themselves, and you never will be able to.

How current it is

Each dataset refreshes on its own schedule, from twice a day to weekly, chosen by how fast the underlying facts actually change. Reputation listings are the most frequent, because a stale listing keeps accusing a network that has already been cleared. Routing is read from full table dumps. Registry allocations move slowly and are refreshed weekly.

Freshness is tracked per source and published at /api/meta/freshness, including when a source last succeeded and whether it is currently degraded.
