Autonomous system
AS3949: NTT America, Inc.
United States · business ISP
Estimated users is a published estimate of how many people use this network, extrapolated from 12 observations over a 60 day window. Large operators often run several networks, so a low figure can mean their customers reach the internet through a sibling network.
What this tells you
- Its space resolves to 7 countries, concentrated in United States (38% of the IPv4 space), a multinational footprint.
- The population figure rests on 12 observations, so read it as an order of magnitude.
- The same operator runs 29 other networks, and a larger one (AS2914) carries more of their users, so this network is only part of their footprint.
Countries in this space
Space we can place in a country covers 100% of this network's IPv4 space and 100% of its IPv6 space. The table below divides that space.
| Country | IPv4 share | IPv6 share | |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | 38% | - | |
| France | 34% | - | |
| Netherlands | 14% | - | |
| Germany | 7% | - | |
| United Kingdom | 3% | - | |
| South Africa | 3% | - | |
| Japan | - | 100% |
Organisations holding assignments here
Registered organisations account for 59% of this network's IPv4 space. The table below divides that space. Registered holders come from the bulk whois that RIPE, APNIC and AFRINIC publish. ARIN and LACNIC do not publish theirs, so space held in North and South America is largely unattributed here.
Anonymizer signals
Flagged space covers 29% of this network's IPv4 space. The table below divides that space.
| Category | IPv4 share | |
|---|---|---|
| Open proxy | 100% | |
| Datacenter | 71% | |
| VPN | 24% |
One address can carry more than one of these, so the rows add up to more than the space they cover.
